Traveling by Car
Here are some things to consider when traveling by car. Do you have a trick that works for you?

Don't feed Spot for three hours. Take him out for a walk first of course, and plan ahead to stop along the way. Give him some fresh water at each stop and maybe a nice treat or two.

If the drive is eight hours or longer, let Spike use her litter box and give her some fresh water. (You did get her that carrier or auto barrier, didn't you?)

Feed Spot and Spike shortly after you arrive at the motel. Observe all pet regulations! Keep Spot or Spike in the restricted area or carrier, for example—it helps the next pet-loving guest.
